Ideas for film room project.

After confiding in my group that I wasnt to happy with the choice a few agreed and it was agreed to do some seperate ideas and present the ideas the next day. I ended up with 3 main possible ideas for the film room project being, Clockwork Orange.

I feel that Clockwork orange is a pretty good choice since there is a lot of colour to play with around the room. Also all the small details and objects around the room such as the bed covers, could really help make the room. The downfall with this room is that it's quiet smal and possibly not enough room to move around in game so thats quiet limeted. Hard Candy.

I absolutly love the different room in this film. I feel that my main choice personally would be hard candy since each room is simple but pretty striking in the sense of each one has it's own colours and the contemporary objects that fill the room really make it. Also the colours and lighting in the room really help set up a mood and atmosphere for each section sinc ethe kitchen is blue with white lighting it make its feel cold and a little sterile, where as the front room/lounge is bright red and pretty warm with orange tinted nartural lighting through the blinds. The ownly downfall is that its all open plan however its pretty minamel so that isnt to much of a problem however my group was off put as this room had been done last year so they didnt want to be compare to that however I still prefer hard candy and feel we could have just made sure we did a different scene or did it better even with more detail. Creating the whole rooms were also an advantage I thought. Teenage mutant Ninja turtles

I think that TMNT is a good choice since there planty of refernece and its pretty dynamic with assets and textures. However it does give off a really nice atmosphere and mood. The downside to this idea is that it isn't naturally lit so lighting could potentially be a problem and their sewer hideout is pretty big so timing could be an issue.
