Film has been chosen.

After sharing ideas amoungst our group with the help of tutors we went with hard candy originally however when discussing it they were put off as it had already been done the previous year so after some frustration and the pressure to choose a film still fast was at a high we spoke to one of the tutors who helped us think of other ideas and eventually and finally we decided on the tv series of daredevil. As we decided to do the apartement from the daredevil series as a group we began by looking for a still firstly and reference and as much as possible. I completed a bit of research on various stills before sharing with the group (put in seperate post). We ended up deciding on the still shown below just because of the camera position and the lighting. Chosen still.

As the still was chosen we then began to compile together our thoughts on the room and reference to help draw out a basic floor plan which also helped our group pull out the main priority assets. As the series is a netflix exclusive not all of our group members could get HD quality reference apart from myself. So I then spent an evening going through the series print screenas much as possible trying to find varying camera angles of the apartement and close ups of any assets i could. It was a little difficault as the apartement does change through the series but of course main reference would be put against the acutal chosen still. Once i had some variations of screens I then shared them amoungst my group members to help with there reference for images. Action plan/goal For the end of the week I think i m going to spoend some time analysing the perspectives and layout of the apartement from stills from all sides of the room to help get a better understanding of the room. Have all assets given out amoungst group. Begin to break down own assets ready to model.
